Secret OWL Little Bro B-day Plan pt.2

So, if you see my previous post about my plans for a secret birthday present for my little brother I have a new update for those of you who are interested.

So I did not know I could not buy later Stage Tickets as far in advance as I would like. I was discussing this with my mother and we both decided it was time to tell my little brother about his present so we could properly prepare him and everything else for the trip as to confirm things and give me a chance to pay VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to when Stage 5 goes up for purchase.

With that being said, I got to call my little brother today and break the news to him. He just got home from class so it was great timing. Conversation went like this

Me: Sup, fuckboi.

Him: Listen here, you need to drop this name calling, asshole.

Me: So I have a question for you.

Him: Yeah?

Me: When is your birthday?

Him: May.

Me: Cool, what if I told you Mom, Dad, and I are flying you out to meet me in Vegas so I can drive you to see Seoul Dynasty at the Blizzard Arena in June?

Him: (long pause)

Me: Well?

Him: Well, that would BE AMAZING OMG

Filled him in on everything and how we wanted to surprise him, but with so much riding on tickets we figured it would be a good idea to tell him now so he could find out when his semester ends and allow him time to save up money in case he goes through the budget I give him.

Folks, I am one stoked sister right now. It was so much fun to hear his excitement over the phone. I could hear the smile on his face. He asked why I came up with this plan. Got to tell him that I am so proud of how much work he has put into school and work. I wanted him to know that he means a lot to me and I feel he deserved a good vacation after a semester of balancing work, school, friends, games, and family. He said thank you a bunch.

Right now my only concerns are solidifying tickets because my plan is to take him to the last three games in Stage 5. My plan is to take him Friday, Saturday, and that Sunday so he can see the Stage 5 Final. So it is going to be some heavy monitoring of the OWL site to see when Stage 5 tickets go up for purchase.

Also, he is going to be laid off of work for sometime due to the company being sold and the store going under renovations by the new owners (but he will get his spot back once they complete the renovations). So this trip will give him some stress release to be able to go on vacation even though he won't have a job to pay for one. He wants to save up what he can while he is still able to work.

And last part, yo budgeting is hard af, family. But if I sacrifice in some places here and there then him and I will still be able to have a fun weekend on this trip.

Thanks for reading the story. Thanks to everyone that commented the kind things on the first part of the story. I am too excited for this trip and after I had some bad days at work it was nice to hear my brother's voice so full of joy.
