Overwatch is now LITERALLY unplayable.

On the PTR, there was a bug where the game wouldn't load anything on the menu nor the matches so you would just be stuck on a black-screen menu or the "Now Entering..." map loading screen. A thread was made on the PTR Bug Report forum about this bug, with a lot of people responding that they have the same issue (the thread now has 135 replies and over 2k views), however, we never got an answer from Blizzard, not even a generic "We're looking into this issue" answer, so we just had to live with the silence until the patch got pushed live and see if the bug got fixed... it didn't.

This is incredibly game-breaking as it literally makes the game unplayable, and if so many people were having this problem on the PTR, where only a minority of players are, imagine now that this got pushed to live... It's just shocking that Blizzard completely ignored a thread with over a hundred replies and pushed this broken update live.

This seems to only happen in low-end PCs, however it's not a specific hardware problem as EDIT: It seems to be happening to a lot of PCs, not just low-end: before this update, the live server was working just fine. Also, before you comment "oh just press Alt + Z/restart your computer/whatever", please take a look at the thread linked above as it contains a lot of "solutions" that people tried to fix this bug.

Can Blizzard at least acknowledge this bug? I would be okay with just a generic answer but this complete silence is really disheartning...

    Hey there, we’re still investigating this issue internally. A dump of the Overwatch client when it’s in this “stuck” state would be helpful for us to do further investigation.

    For anyone who has this specific issue and is comfortable with creating a process dump (Task Manager > Right Click Overwatch > Create Dump File) and can upload it to a location where we’re able to download it (drop box, one drive), this would be extremely helpful for us.
