Competition Theme: Grim Tutor

We've appeased two of the Old Gods, but there's still two left! We need another card for them...

• You must create a card that tutors a minion and/or spell
  • To 'tutor' a card means to draw it from your deck - things like Claw Machine or Swindle are examples which draw from specific subsets.

BloodMefist realised that we only catered to two of the four Old Gods last week, so they've tasked us with pleasing Yogg and C'Thun this week.

I Know some streamers (Solem, Zeddy, Dexter) complained about low amounts of legendaries in their pre-order packs,

Also saw a few posts about 100+ packs with 2 legendaries..

It seems Blizzard also removed the pity timer.. it wasn't never officially stated to be there but proven statistically.

Looking as everyone would be focused on the new reward system they sneakily removed that safety net of course it's speculation but it makes sense looking at those use cases.. they could at ANY TIME change their pack distribution and nobody would notice..

He got a response from Blizzard denying the existence of said pity timer, they didn't deny in the pasts

According to this they removed it, in the past they confirmed there is some sort of pity timer!

Pure speculation I know but I wonder if someone will check the stats again on a big scale, unlikely now that people are focused on the reward system, but I would like to know if it was indeed removed. the pity timer was a fact, if someone gone 40 packs without a legendary it's a proof it was removed/changed.

I don't know what is going on but the game is constantly disconnecting me whenever i finish a game. My internet connection is perfectly fine. Absolutely no issues while navigating or playing other games. The weird thing is that it always happens at the end of a game when an achievement pops up. This pattern has repeated several times. Whenever a game ends and an achievement is earned i am disconnected from the game. This is really pissing me off. I'm trying to finish one weekly quest and the game keeps kicking me out of it. I keep having to reload the game after every other match. I suspect that the client does this just to update the achievement tracker or whatever. Is anyone else going through a similar issue? I really needed to speak. My nerves are bursting because of this right now. 

Hallo everyone. My Name is Samuel from Hearthstone, my Nick ingame is DoktorOkabe. I have so much to tell about the new System as a Pay to Play Player and as a lover since Ungoro.

First off lets talk about the new system. Everyone Hates it, or the biggest half of the community. So me too. Why? Its because Blizzard REALY stole my progress. 
I am beeing Slowed Down by A lot. And when i say by a lot, i mean REALY by a lot.

Before the rewamp i could earn nearly a pack or arena ticket a day. (quest + wins). This helps me out to get the cards i didnt draw from the mega bundles i always buy. (blame me or not but i love the game and have the money :D)
But most times i miss about 22 Cards, 18 Legends and 2 or more epics (doubles or solo epics)

After the normal release of a expansion it just need about 4 Weeks to get nearly all my intendet cards. And after this i allways spend the dust for golden ones.

At the moment right now, i only got 3 Packs after the release of Dark Moon Faire. 
This is not much.
And i didnt even got this much gold, cause of the packs on the track.

Hope you all didnt get this wrong but i think, blizzard may stole more than 3000 golds or more. They stole our Free Way to Get everthing when we want it. And this is the biggest issue i can see on the NEW system.

Yeah the first level ups give me 1300 Gold. But to be honest, with the level ups that become more and more xp expensive, it will be harder to get more gold. 

I even buy the pass for the nice new skins of Annhylde or the Jaina and Thrall Skins. But i am sad that these are the only ones we get.
For 20 Bucks its about 7 Skins + a gold Skin and a golden Dark Moon Guy. This is not okay, because other games give you more than this. Why no Arena Tickets? or MORE Gold for level ups? Like: 100 for the free way, and 200 for the payed way. I mean this would likely make everyone want to get  the Pass.

Libram Paladin is running wild and there is no viable silence card in Standard. Owl is trash for 3 mana, the new neutral deathrattle silence minion sucks even more and Spellbreaker went into Wild.

It is time that Owl got a rebuff to 2 mana or got at least some extra stats.

I've seen several threads about specific achievements, but not a dedicated forum for sharing tips and seeking help (perhaps I missed it?). So here goes: If you are looking to share or obtain helpful ideas about the new in-game achievements, here is a place to do so.

I'll start with a PSA: I completed the Demon Hunter one where you need a 10-attack Redeemed Pariah, and I tried to cheat using Abusive Sergeant. It did not work. You need to actually play 8 Outcast cards to buff his attack to 10.

So who else has a tip to share or needs some help?

I am "hunting" achievements at the moment, but it seems nearly impossible to get the C`Thun achievement, because most of the enemies will hurt themselfs with some AOE or hero attacks.

Any suggestions how to get this achievement?

Greetings here! I'm here to present you my version of how I would change the Neutral Core Set. I'm back at doing these, and this may be the last one, as it's just Neutrals left.

This time, as I'm mentioning again, I'm going to end my project with Neutral cards. The cards we currently have are not that bad, but a lot of them have been brushed under the rug due to powercreep, and even in the beginning of Hearthstone, some were so bad they need to be replaced. There's also room to add even more diversity to evergreen strategies. I've also added five new Basic cards to alter Demon Hunter's Golden Card distribution to be more in line with Mage and Warrior.

FYI, all cards under spoilers are only new cards  or existing cards that got changed. The rest of cards that were not shown stay the same, so they don't exactly need to be exposed. Some cards or changes to them are also giggles and my guilty pleasures. Expect Da Undatakah.

Something I can't ever decide if it's worth it or not.  When running a primarily spell mage deck, is it right to coin+Incanter's flow on turn 1? Or should you save the coin and wait until turn 2?  The idea being that by coining on turn 1, you are giving a "coin" for all future spells.  Assuming you never float mana, in theory the idea holds merit.  But if you ever find yourself short of one mana, then holding the coin may be better.

I did not get a Daily Quest today. All I have is a small red space telling me I have another 17 hours until I get a new Daily Quest.

On Tuesday I did not clear out a new spot for a Daily Quest from the three full spots because the new four-spot UI made me think I could carry four Quests at a time (Feedback: Not great UI, Blizz). Did this somehow cause it? I then cleared my Quests on Wednesday, then completed the one Daily Quest I received yesterday. When I logged in this morning, all I had was that red empty spot--no new Quest.

Is this part of the new system that I hadn't heard about (Daily Quests aren't actually Daily)? Or is this a bug? Is this even the right place for me to post this?

I was playing some Weapon Rogue in Duels, and I took a bucket that had multiple Weapon synergy cards like Steeldancer and Cutting Class, but I didn't realize I also took an Arcanite Reaper as one of the options.

Is it intentional? Did anyone else get different class cards for other classes with maybe Mage/Shaman?

Maybe this came up elsewhere, but tbh I didn't look it up.

So the idea is: if I don't attack you (I'm talking Ranked mode), that means I'm trying to do some silly achievements, so please try not to attack me. :)

what are they useful for ?

I know that game time is the biggest indicator for how much exp you get. But is it true you get 70% less EXP in Casual? 

Did someone know if the interaction with soul fragment is bugged?

I played against a warlock and he shuffled soul fragment into his deck. He was at 1 HP, and used his hero power. So he goes to -1 and back to 1.

Is the interaction supposed to work like that ? I remember last time playing warlock and playing a card which deals damage than heals (can't remember which one) but because I was under 0 hp I died and was unable to recover.

If you haven't noticed yet. For SOME REASON when you die to new c'thun from full health because your rogue opponent is a lucky piece of human trash. You can't concede. You are forced to watch the entire animation, from start to finish before the game lets you leave.

I don't remember this being the case for old C'thun but it sure is a bad feeling when you're stuck there with the slow animation plinking you down from full health. ESPECIALLY after watching your opponent get lucky all game as had happened to me.

I've completed a 1000 XP daily quest and not received the XP bonus. Has it happened to anyone else?

I'm at level 12 and have 479/1750 xp At the moment. After completing the daily quest, I was expecting to reach 1479 but I'm still at 479.

I've even checked my packs for an ashes of outland card pack in case I remember my previous level wrong. However, I don't have the pack also. So, I'm pretty sure I was at 479 XP before completing the quest.

I currently have the weekly quest "Play 50 Corrupt cards." active. But no matter which mode I play, it doesn't get updated. I'm still 0/50 but I played Corrupt cards in ranked as well as in casual. The other weekly quest ("Spend 500 mana") got updated even in unranked/casual.

Anyone with the same problem?
