Yeah you are absolutely right. Easier said than done though. I think as I get older I seem to realise that younger people tend to take 2 seconds to decide if something is right or wrong while it took me like the past hour to ponder everything said and done. It feels like given how much time it took me to write a detailed review vs how short it is to dislike something, it really feels dishearthening. I'm not saying this is one of those times; but thats immidiately where my mind goes these days. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I appriciate it.
Ah that's right I didn't think of that. thank you for explaining and not being negative about it <3 I didn't understand people meant how doomsayer can have a reason to exist in your deck on it's own but Shattering Blast does not.
I do realize there is added benefit to doomsayer by stoping your opponent to play anything if they fail to remove it essensially limiting your opponents play next turn. But I figured dispite the 1 additional mana cost clearing the board on your turn means you can take initiave with your excess mana on that turn, rather than risk the board clear on your opponents hand.
I don't understand the dislikes to be honest. It's the same studio after all, it's just bad business to have confilicting releases. I guess people who don't play TBC Classic can't emphatize with you.
But still I think they couldn't time it any other way, they probably wouldn't have been ready a week before (which would have been more ideal for us) and delaying a week just for TBC players would also be bad for business as that's probably a minority of players.

Playing doomsayer alone to an empty board has the exact same effect, you are talking about the benefit of doomsayer himself. But you are right that the FN+D can still be more beneficial than the new combo if you want to stop your enemy from playing minions as your main priority. I assumed many people's main priority would be to clear the board (since you don't need to frost nova first if the board is clear anyway). Both situations are not guarrented however since it is way too easy to clear a doomsayer these days.
Edit: Yeah sorry, I just understood what you meant, I think I misunderstood you and got confused. You meant Doomsayer has a reason to be played alone but Shattering Blast always needs a combo. Yeah you are absolutely right I didn't think about this.

I'm confused about Spectral Sight. It was an Ashes of Outland card which is not rotating and now it's in the core set. I fell like Dh's got cheated one card.
I counted it like a hour ago but forgot right now, I think it was 16ish bad outcomes to 21 good outcomes as the current roster of beasts we know. There could be other beasts in barrens that balance it more. (some cards are situationally good or bad though, like 3/4 beast that saves spells in its deathrattle. It would be bad in a tempo deck but could be good in a control deck as psudo-board clear deterrant.)
Majordomo buffs your leftmost minion at the end of your turn. It might be difficult to pull off for baron since you probably need him more right to win your rounds if you have him in your comp.

Rip Frost Nova - Doomsayer in wild :( 1 more mana but guarrenteed kill and one-sided board clear with Shattering Blast.

They really should revert warsong commander to old version and just swap charge for rush
