Same, I stopped playing, honestly, I don't see how the game can NOT become faster with questlines in standard and I'm too far behind because I have like 2 months without playing.
It's so stupid you have to pay Gold, and that much gold as well, to play the gacha. I don't understand why those aren't free, they should not be like that at all. This is like Constructed costed Gold besides the cards.
Illucia was great as a combo counter in Priest, a class that has problem with draw and combo decks... it getting reworked to something stupid like "get a copy of your opponent cards this turn only" not only sounds tupid af because it's basically a very worst secret passage but forgoes the intended counter to combo decks Priest still needs to not die to all of them in Wild.
The rework is gonna be Illucia, there is no way they make they bring control back in the control class. They probably want to kill Illucia because it's too good in Shadow Priest and even at 5 it would be too strong in that deck while neverplayed as the combo counter it was suppossed to be.
I was EXTREMELY dissapointed with the game mode. They offered Roguelike and made a Gacha without ANY Rogue-esque mechanic. This is a full Gacha that needs close to 2000+ packs to be completed and they offer 2 measly packs? even if it was 20 most Gachas offer close to 50+ "packs" in currency and summons and whatever to start. 2 is spitting in the face of the playerbase.
If Blizzard didn't want HS to succeed, they would've moved most of the developers onto other projects.
Actually, the moved most of the orignal team including game director, art director etc to another secret project inside Blizzard and Kozaki and the barrage of people that left, said they left because they didn't like the direction the game was going but they loved everyone working there.
So my guess is you're right. They might have noticed the game is dying and they want to milk everyone there to the point the cow dies with the milk.
This guy lives in an Echo chamber. It's amazing that he makes a living out of running a site for fans of a game, and when the same fans get mad because the game got in such a bad state that everyone is noticing how much of a cash grab the game is his first recommendation is "Find another game".
I was a fanboy once as well but omg, after wasting 200 dollars this expansion on a game I literally haven't played because they killed both Control and Priest and those were the only things I invested in, I felt the hard truth they have a very limited vision and I can't keep supporting a "200 for nothing guaranteed please gift us 300-1000 extra dollars for this other side project we have in mind" that seems like sucks as well.
They need to change things asap and offer something everyone wants to play because "gacha" is not exactly what everyone thinks when the say "Roguelike".
lol, you're crazy if you think Priest can survive this and win against aggro. If anything Priest will become more greedy and only win against other control decks. The reason Priest doesn't try to win against aggro with other tempo options is because aggro can put 5-4 stats on board on turn 1 with the coin and you can't counter that with anything Priest plays except accept at least 5 damage and try to survive.
If you think it's not already deleted you're crazy. I literally only won the games where I drew Apotheosis AND I didn't kept it on my opening hand. With this Priest is more dead than the Lych King.

They need to reevaluate Golden cards value. 1600 for an epic? Fuck off. Not gonna pay that with my wallet either.
We are Dolphins. I buy the 2 prebundles and a couple other bundles along the way. Real whales seem to spend waaay more than we do.
