Here is an article about Japan published today, they had no lockdown and just used common sense measures.https://www.yahoo.com/news/japan-avoided-lockdown-telling-everyone-113600195.html

I agree our economy would be going down anyway because of covid but it would not have been such a precipitous drop. Regardless of the age of the previous article small businesses remain the backbone of most economies.

To act like every waiter and waitress and many blue collar worker being unemployed has no effect on the economy is not true.  My point with Sweden is to show that people can still live their lives and work and the death toll will not be significantly higher than other European counterparts. This has been proved time and again with other Asian countries such as listed in the article above.  I think there has been way too much dear mongering based on little evidence.

You claim   "  recessions like the one the world is seeing now are not caused by "mom and pop" stores going out of business"

Let's get some facts straight. 78 percent of new jobs come from small business and small business accounts for 64% of our gdp. So when they hurt, our economy suffers.https://smallbiztrends.com/2017/03/family-business-statistics.html

Another claim you make about sweden says what they are doing is slowing the spread is by reducing travel. If that's the case why not follow the same model? That's better than destroying the economy. Heck most Asian countries are opened up already and they are doing well. Again they did not sacrifice people's jobs and homes. Common sense practices reduce many illness. This does not apply to autoimmune people or people at risk. They should stay home, but the majority of people are not in that category.

Who said stop all safety precautions? Big ASSumption there. You can have measures such as masks and social distancing.  It's just as much danger going to a grocery store.  Deaths matter it's sad when people die. I can see arguments for both sides. Yet, the fact is steeper cuts will need to be made the longer we keep the sip.  In California the governor has proposed an across the board 10% cut for every govt worker. People are barely making it now with 10% cuts many teachers will lose there houses, many more homeless will be created.  Too much politization is happening. People's economic survival is not a right or left issue.  Btw I'm a very progressive Bernie Sanders supporter not some right winger. The media is trying to portray opening up as crazy right wing ideas.  I go  by the evidence,i there has not been spikes in  places that open .  Evidence is important.  Many of you do not know how to argue so instead you huff and puff and resort to name calling. I'm glad few of you saw through that bs.

You sound a bit judgy condescending.  Your too wrapped up in the media hype. Look at places suchi as Sweden and Georgia( US state), who lifted restrictions or never had any, their numbers of cases are not exploding. Silicon valley hospitals are ghost towns so much so they have to lay off hospital staff. This is true in so many places.   My neighbor is a senior admin for valley medical, the public hospital system in San jose. He said the emergency wards there are empty.

Beyond that ,What makes me sick is a family restaurant that was in business for 40 years in my neighborhood was shutdown permanently because of SIP.  So many mom and pop shops, the heart of the middle-class are being destroyed, while Jeff Bezos is raking it in. Where is your compassion for the small businesses owner? But hey as long as it doesn't affect your bottom line, right? I wonder if you would be singing the same tune if your website was forced shut by the govt. Caring and compassion and community building are great things.  It starts with understanding those small businesses people who are being destroyed.  There are two sides to every argument. Perhaps try to show a little understanding.

So stop  living life for the .04% chance you could die from something, makesmakes sense.  Nevermind 35% show no symptoms when they catch it. Keeping everything shutdown kills people too. So many suicides and drug OD have occurred too thanks to the SIP.  People need jobs. Think about all those waiters and waitresses losing money because of closedown conventions. sorry but the govt cannot afford to keep giving people paychecks.  We were lied to, they said there was going to be a a deathrate of 3-5 percent. That never materialized.

Ca has a .04% deathrate for covid. Seams like overkill, but whatever as long as they still have the expansion announcements that is  the main reason blizzcon is exciting.

Looks like we have to wait a bit longer.  It's too bad they are not going to release new cards like they did for the last adventure.  The meta could use a little shake up.

It's seams like they are taking awhile sharing any news about the upcoming adventure. When do you think it will be released?

I think sometimes it's about pilot navigation. If it's a new deck to you regardless whether it's t1 or not you want to try it out first before going to standard. It's about learning a new deck basically, not just to try and be a d.

Hopefully a slight nerf to the albatross like making it a 3/2 or a  4/1.  I think the card is fun.

He gives embedded links for each of his claims. Check out his links. for example check out his claim about polio. He uses NPR a very reliable source. Here is the link he used https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2017/06/28/534403083/mutant-strains-of-polio-vaccine-now-cause-more-paralysis-than-wild-polio.

Don't be a big pharma stooge and buy all their lies. Follow the money.

Washing hands and clean water are what brought us into the modern era in terms of deathrates and catching illnesses. Any medicine has side effects. Even Tylenol can wreck your kidneys if you are not careful.  Vaccine injury does happen. I don't do the flu shot anymore because A) it has a 15% effectiveness rating and B) one of the worst flus I've ever had has come from the flu shot.  If this new covid shot comes with a similar effectiveness rating and no safety testing do you really want to be a guinea pig?

Here is a recent article about Bill Gates shenigans and other vaccine issues citng sources such as the WHO. This shows the danger of new vaccine experiments.

    https://childrenshealthdefense.org/news/government-corruption/gates-globalist-vaccine-agenda-a-win-win-for-pharma-and-mandatory-vaccination/

You would be foolish not to recognize the risk reward dangers in something designed to manipulate your immune system. Like I said before there could be some other really promising options for treatment and that a vaccine should not be the only recourse. If you want it then take it, but don't tell me or  to force me to do something with my body I'm not comfortable with. I hold this same position with being pro choice as well. Your body is the only thing you should have control of.  If you are not well you are at risk and are immune compromised there are a million things you could catch anyway that there are no vaccines for so maybe you should take some precautions. Do not force healthy people to do something that could harm them.

Mandatory I don't think so especially with them foregoing safety precautions in a rush to get it out. There is a reason why we don't do certain vaccines anymore and that reason is major side affects. All medicine has a risk reward aspect.  I am hopeful the plasma and cloroquine(sp) will show they are very helpful in fighting the disease. Big pharma is doing it's best to shade the effectiveness of these treatments because there is not as much money to be gained.   Also in California a test to show if you are immune is coming out.  There is evidence pointing to the fact a high population is naturally immune.  Making a mandatory vaccine is a boon to big pharma and may not be necessary if other treatments work. It's amazing how you would be so willing to give up your rights for something that maybe entirely unnecessary.
