  • I can see justification for any of the nerfs, they all don't need hit, but how does Paladin not get mentioned? Certainly there is something there that's annoying, powerful, and needs addressed.

Also, overgrowth and survival of the Fittest need it, and not just because I have golden copies. (I'm only afloat on dust right now because they nerfed evocation and I happened to open one of those in golden on day 1 of outland)

  • Yes, it's one of the things people don't think about/mention/understand is that we won't finish this rewards track until almost the next expansion. Don't get me wrong, I don't like it, I don't like the slow progression. I don't like not being able to earn, say, 150 gold quick for an Arena run or a pack or whatever. I just wanted the info. I'm fascinated by the numbers, but won't be installing a 3rd party app to track them.

There's a lot of opportunity for improvement, hopefully it happens. It'd be a shame if it didn't. Resource management is kind of a fun part of the game, but if there are no resources, there isn't anything to manage.

And there I go again... Too long-winded.

  • "Wow, you're on that one still?" A direct quote from my 5 year old daughter after looking over my shoulder and seeing I was still on level 25.

Over the last 8 days I tracked my xp gained per game, which was annoying because they don't just tell you after the match what a single game is worth. I, unfortunately, didnt time said matches because... lazy, but longer games are worth more win or lose.

Ranked standard: 64.5 avg xp per win, 48.2 avg xp per loss.

Casual standard is less, but I didn't play enough games to conclude how much. Looks like about 20 xp per game less.

Tavern brawls look to reward about the same as casual games.

Arena xp is about the sames as ranked, but again, not many games.

    I reroll every 800 xp daily. Over the 8 days I was offered 5 800s, one of which rerolled to a 1000. So I completed 4 1000s, and 4 800s.

    I completed 4 achievements for 500 xp.

    Weeklys for 6000xp.

I think I earned 17753xp for the 8 days and went from level 21 to level 26.

I guess the ranked numbers are about the only thing worth much, and I tracked all this just so I know. Now I know, and knowing is half the battle!

Also, I've been playing that jank to get the Yogg wheel achievement... 4/6 results and I still need to spin it to win a game. Yogg sucks.

  • The token DH is fun. Cult master can have it drawing though the entire deck. I even dropped a 14/13 Blood Herald (buffed by a wriggling horror or something). Inconsistent, though.

  • Gimme some drops... So I can NOT open them because now I have to save for a mini set too.

  • But it's so hard to wait!

  • Applesauce, maybe?

  • Well said. I'm newish (Jan 2020) to hearthstone, love the game, have found CCGs to be wonderful, and want to continue playing hearthstone as I feel like I missed out over the last few years. This whole rewards track has been a mess from the start, infuriating, but I'm trying to stay positive.

I think RidiculousHat keeps talking about it, but it's time for Hearthstone 2. New client, interface, the works. This whole mess seems like 10lbs of shit in a 5lb bag. But hearthstone isn't shit, so it's like 10lbs of... Not candy, but maybe like mashed potatoes. They're spilling out on the floor and have hairs in them and stuff. Candy is at least in a wrapper, and we could still eat it if it spilled.

Theres a topic for discussion. You're welcome.

  • $60. It's like a new game every expansion, and new games cost $60. Unless I'm too old and "in my day candy cost a nickle, and we went to school 8 days a week, until they got rid of Redsday because of the war. The important thing to remember is I had an onion tied to my belt, which was the style at the time."

  • Flavor text! Hahahahahahahhahah!

  • My favorite name of the set. I wish I was of the red smoke.

  • I got this as my level 1 legendary. Going to have to try it, I suppose, if I have to.

  • Whatever deck plays this, wake me up after you kill me.

  • Eclipses are rare, but against Druid you'll see about 3 per game.

  • Hooray for aggro shaman!

  • Annoying in control shaman.

  • It's interesting. Drop as a finisher (though probably not) or to get better trades and present a kinda must kill. Aggro never corrupts this, though.

  • I hated that brawl, so this effect annoys me.

  • Who wants this? Rushers need health, not attack.

  • Great colors.
