Oh I agree totally it's just when you look at Patchwerk, Tickatus, Mutanus and other cards like them a certain of the player base has strong opinions on their effects which I expect to see on the first week or so of the expansion when Death Knights will be everywhere as people flock to to see what the new class does.
Personally I don't really care as I only really play normal constructed hearthstone with friends now bar two decks I occasionally play on ladder and they are spell focused anyway so won't be effected.
I've already mentioned I see some people not taking kindly to Patchwerk as he is now... especially if he gets played alongside Brann oh that is going to go down well. Yeah I feel highlight reels and rage moments are going to come from him depending on how things look and see just how much effect he has.
That has been one thing that has crossed my mind the other is that you choose the opponents card to take but the opponent then chooses yours so sure you take the opponents piece but they can take yours giving him a double edge as well. Still doubt either will happen as not sure if pride or stubbornness but unless something is literally breaking a format they don't tend to alter/ban the card and rather just increase the cost.
Ice Revenant makes sense remember in a casual game it showed up in a freeze mage deck and woah was surprised how big it got quickly in that so it being changed before frost DK... yeah I get it.
Signature cards will need to see more of but do feel certain artwork will work better as I think the white of Marrowgar helps it stand out while Lor'themar is just... there. As for the new portraits... need to actually see them in client to make an opinion as the Arthas one I like the armor but the face is just... something off with it.
So, didn't want to create a new thread, and have a question about visitor quests.
So i tried to do Alexstrasza one, which required me to complete Azshara bounty with Athissa and Garona in party.
Ok, slotted them into nature bros, completed - nothing. Okay, maybe even if it doesn't say it, it needs to be completed on Heroic. Done - still nothing.
Is it me missing something or they just don't work yet?
So it's a bit vague but what you need to do is include the visitor in the team so for you it would be Alexstraza along with Athissa and Garona and then it works.
Have had a go with them and Reno I've had the most fun with using the spell power one. Turning something like arcane explosion into a 3 mana deal 3 aoe is really useful. Seeing lots of questline hunter Brann which I'm not totally shocked by.
Still seen a few people fall into the "oh this will work like it does in the adventure" with some cards like Renos gatling wand where I had a empty board and they throw a whole bunch of cheap spells and then go "ah ha... wait what?" Happened twice on first round of run today one stuck around... the other shame conceded I think.
From what I understand it's a default name given to people who have not created a designated user name for their account and is always a variation of *blank*pants.
Well this thing is still broken as ever... and feel sorry for the poor sod I just fought who was a rogue who went first and opened with... argent squire *looks at players name and see it is one of the default pants names and they have a sergeant honor rank... looks at hand that has Ultimate infestation, solar eclipse and 2 moontouched amulets and knows what is going to be happen*. Rope was the bigger threat on that one.
