Like you I've been playing against more Priest and Warlock and less DH lately. As such I've cut both Lighning Bolts and Squallhunters in favor of 2x Dread Corsair, 1x Mutate, 1x Mogu Fleshshaper. You lose the potential burst finisher …

I initially had [card]Dragon's Pack[/card] as a one off in the deck but it wasn't performing well and has anti-synergy with the evolve effect of the weapon. It's played winrate on HS replay is 43.5%

The deck is indeed reliant on drawing and playing the weapon at the right time, however I found in most games I was able to do this. Sorry to hear you didn't find much success. 

Even though they were expensive I really enjoyed the solo adventures this year, especially the Tomb of Terror. In 2020 I'm looking forward to Galakrond's Awakening and the future solo content.
