Played a few things. In my opinion Glakrond quest shaman is the strongest. It generates huge boards over and over and over again. The double invokes keep the board under control early. I only lost to perfect curve aggro warrior with a terrible starting hand. I took it from from Rank 8 to 4 in a bit over an hour. I also like highlander dragon mage. Super fun and can hold its own. I tried a bit of pirate warrior and gave it up after a few games because my draw was too inconsistent. Will be trying Galakrond dragon warrior next I think.
I’m kinda excited. I wasn’t expecting anything like it and after watching some of the gameplay it looks very low key to play. I’m still hoping the rewards are there though. Should be a fun way to experience the art and designs for me without needing as many of the cards.
Im a bit bummed as well about the lack of competitive quest lists. at sub 5 I hardly see any quests. The only new deck is see at all regularly is highlander hunter and I'm pretty sick of playing against hunter.
I think others are right in that future releases have a good chance at making them more viable but man is that a long time to wait to play the main theme of the current expansion.
I got colossus yesterday and I’m hoping he works for something but I’m not too optimistic. Mostly I expect to use it in duel Paladin after I hit rank 5. The problem I see with big anything is that there are a ton of easy removals now. The trades are too out offavor.
Stop. I didnt want to get the bundle before. I do love my newest shaman hero. I dont like to do the annoying BM (read spamming) but a few of his phrases at the right time feel pretty good

so we have bronze gatekeeper, zilliax, hecklebot, rusty recycler, unpowered steambot, damaged stegotron, safeguard....oh boy. That’ll already give more than half a deck mech and taunt synerg

I think it does hold water now but maybe not quite so much self damage. I think the lackey zoo version can be very strong now.

Dodged warrior and Paladin and mage!!! Got warlock quest which I was actually kinda hoping for since I have a golden Rafraam

This could also be another version of tiger paladin.

Evil recruiter still seems useful for trading with buffed lackeys. Just trade into a 3/3 and transform it into a full 5/
