its because you revived a post from before the spell schools were added.
I agree with all your points. Especially about Spring Water, I mean Spring water feels worst when it recovers mana (AKA after you play incanter's)
Incanter's in this case is the trouble card, with Spring Water as the follow up, usually we see the trouble card get nerfed, not the follow up
Everytime there's events such as these Regis says in his stream that he wishes he could give his spot up for other, less known content creator, so in his case at least, the writing was already there...
For me I followed Funkimonki's advice, and when I put NO GOLDEN CARDS in a deck, it worked

I'm not sure, but I think we need to wait until Core actually rotates to see them. So far no cards from Core can be used, right?
you have to swap your game mode to classic prior to making the deck or it won't work, not the easiest UI change tbh
