remember that you can't heal things if they aren't damaged. it's obviously not as much of a problem for priests as it is for paladins/druids, but it could definitely hinder this card's playability.

It's a really strong payoff if you can damage yourself enough to complete it. I can foresee it potentially being weak if it's too slow to turn the tide against aggro decks and too hard to finish against control decks …

You'd have to play him in a deck that incidentally makes a ton of spells that end up rotting in your hand. New quest mage or a shaman deck with Hagatha come to mind.

this card is fucking absurd in all formats. it might replace fiery war axe in wild pirate warrior imo

i don't think lazul's scheme is terrible, especially compared to dr. boom's. it's even played in the best priest deck right now, nomi priest.
