It doesn't work.

The effect requires an attack to activate. Sweeping strikes doesn't attack nearby enemies, it simply damages them. Tested with Darius.

This replaces Ysera in Dragon Warrior for me. [card]Dragon Roar[/card] and [card]War Master Voone[/card] make it even better. 

Dragon Warrior can already gain a lot of armor. Add this and [card]Heavy Metal![/card] and you are ready for ANNIHILATION.
