Sony just announced the Prism collection, a set of Dualsense controllers and PS5 covers with a transparent design. This is the first time in the PS5's life cycle that we're getting official transparent accessories for the console. And they look good! Check out our gallery below for a closer look at the controllers (Sony didn't provide any close-ups of the covers).
As with most such collection, they come in sets of 3. We have Flare Orange, Emerald Green, and Graphite Grey. The controllers are transparent on the vast majority of their body, sans the sticks and the lower part of the controller (which are black on the stock model). The PS5 covers are only transparent on the upper halves.
The controllers will be available on major retailers and on directly from Sony for $84.99 USD / ¥12,480 / €84.99 / £74.99, while the covers will only be purchasable from Sony's site for $74.99 USD / ¥9,980 / €74.99 / £64.99. If you were thinking of getting them as a Christmas gift, look elsewhere, since both will only be available from the 4th of February, though pre-orders open on the 10th of November.

The metallic finish on the middle cover brings the contrasting surfaces together for a premium appearance that feels consistent with the PS5 generation.
To complement the futuristic aesthetic, we carefully selected three distinct colors: a vibrant orange that subtly takes on a rosy hue where the transparent material overlaps, a deep hunter green that gains depth through its transparency, and a cool-toned storm gray.”

The Prism Collection DualSense wireless controllers will be available globally for a recommended retail price (RRP) of $84.99 USD / ¥12,480 (including tax) / €84.99 / £74.99.*
The matching PS5 console covers will be available exclusively directly from PlayStation where available** and in other regions in limited quantities through select retailers for a RRP of $74.99 USD / ¥9,980(including tax) / €74.99 / £64.99.*
The Prism Collection launches starting on February 4, 2027. Pre-orders will begin on November 10, 2026 at 10am local time directly from PlayStation (where available) as well as participating retailers. The exact launch date and availability for the accessories may vary by country/region.
