Diana is the Newest Legends of Runeterra Targon Champion Coming in Call of the Mountain (5 New Cards Revealed!)

A new moon is rising. Legends of Runeterra has revealed a new Targon Champion card today and its Diana! We've also card reveals alongside Diana.

  • Wow, I love [Hearthstone Card (Diana) Not Found].

    I just like sneaky cards that seem to be small, but turn out to be game changing :)

  • all new champions seems very weak, compared to some old guy ...

    • Maybe we will get lucky and see them bringing some Bilgewater champions down in power then. Namely Miss Fortune.

  • Cygnus seems incredibly weak to me. 6 mana for a 4/2 with elusive only for 1 turn, if you can trigger the nightfall. Yes, granting an ally elusive is good but the effect already exists in ghist and the piltover map. Why run this when you can get the same effect for 1 or even 0 mana?

  • Was not expecting Diana to be so small, but I like it. The combination of Quick Attack and Challenger will work out nicely, although she really needs to be leveled up if you expect her to kill anything.

    Also Hush might be the most blatant example yet that Soraka is coming up next (or last). It's got her face right on the card lol

    • About Soraka, I really hope that she’s coming next, but I’m scared that it might be Aurelian Sol instead. Aurelia Soll’s theme is used in the Targon trailer, the coloring of the background to the last constellation matches his color scheme, and he is a very popular champion that riot might want to use to promote the expansion. However, if Soraka doesn’t come then we’ll have a bunch a heal cards that won’t really make a deck until the second or third expansion of the set, which would be annoying.

      • Hmm...we really only have one more space for a champion, don't we. I thought we had two left, for ASol and Soraka together, but I miscounted (stupid Nocturne). It's got to be Soraka, though...right? They've been showcasing Soraka cards throughout the week D:

          which one champion are you talking about ?

          It has been revealed that Targon has 3 champions right now and Nocturne is in Shadow Isles. 4th will be Aurelion Sol, no doubt but isn't it like there will be 6 champions per region after this expansion will be released ?

          I mean, Aren't there still 2 rooms for Targon after Aurelion Sol reveal ? There is already 5 champions per region right now. I don't think they leave it like 4 champion for Targon tbh because with this exp. all regions have (4) + (1) + 1 (Ex. for ionia Zed/Yasuo/Karma/Shen + Lee Sin + Lulu) champions and forgive me if there are any official announcement about this, I just didn't catch news this time around and just speculating with what we have in the game right now.

          or, Are you just talking about reveals ? If that so, There is only P&Z champion which will be revealed.

          Edit: Oh wait, Just read the Set Guide rn and learnt that There will be 3 expansions in 3 months. Wow, I really missed the huge news. And I also realised that Demacia and Bilgewater also didn't get any reveals yet with P&Z got only one. mmm, that feels like empty to me. I didn't like the way they decide how to release this time.

          Watch it be Tahm Kench and totally mess up all your predictions. :-P

          But seriously, I think you're right about Soraka and that she'll have a healing synergy--cards like Broadbacked Protector, Resplendent Stellacorn, and Guiding Touch just seem too weak without payout from a champion synergy.

        • Yeah but what if they are just using her support cards as filler because they wanted to have a few more cards in the first expansion? No other champion has had any of their support cards revealed alongside other reveals, which could be because Soraka has too many support cards to fit in their 10-ish reveals per champion schedule, or because her support cards are being released in a different expansion than her. Also, given that Aurelian Sol and Shyvanna will likely have dragon synergy, they could decide to either split them up to give Dragons two waves of support, or they could save both of them for one expansion. I really hope they release Soraka though, I’m excited to see how they are going to make a heal deck function and be interesting in LoR.

          • I guess we'll have to wait for tomorrow/Monday to know for sure :/ I think you might be right, but at the same time it seems super weird to me to include Soraka's face on a card and not have her in the game (yet).
