Hail, champions! How have your mountain climbing endeavours gone since the release of Call of the Mountain? Have you found your new favorite deck yet? If not, here are 5 hot decks from popular Legends of Runeterra streamers for you to check out. You'll notice a lot of these look like refined versions of some of the new archetypes we saw from Reckoning last week.
BruisedByGod's Leona + Sol Control
BBG has been playing a lot of Leona + Aurelion Sol lately. Last week we covered the allegiance-style tournament deck that he brought to the Reckoning tournament. Here's a more recent Demacia-heavy variant that thins out celestial cards in favor of proven Demacia tricks like Brightsteel Protector + Single Combat.
SilverFuse's Lee Sin + Taric OTK
It's ironic that right after the patch notes hinted at a possible "major update for Lee Sin", players have discovered new synergies with him in Targon. L2 Lee Sin + Might was a powerful but inconsistent combo in the previous expansion. Gems and Zenith Blade seems like a much more reliable variation, and Taric provides more immediate pressure as well as an alternative win condition. We briefly showcased Hyped's version of this deck last week; here's SilverFuse's take which drops Arbiter of the Peak for Star ShapingBADCARDNAME and squeezes in a couple of Bastion.
GrappLr's Trundle + Sol Control
Where BBG has been partnering Sol with Leona, GrappLr has been using Trundle. His most recent decklist is an interesting blend of ramp, healing, board AoE, and early-game bullies like Tarkaz the Tribeless. I'm still not sold that Icequake is a good card, but there is no denying that GrappLr is using it to devastating effect here as either an early board clear or a Trundle-enabler.
NicMakesPlays's Diana + Nocturne Nightfall
As soon as they were revealed it was clear Diana and Nocturne would be a powerful combination, but since release, there's been much debate about how exactly to structure the optimal decklist. NicMakesPlays has been playing this archetype almost exclusively and is favoring this decklist which features cheap strong aggression with a 1x Cygnus the Moonstalker as a possible closer.
Mogwai's Lulu + Shen Support Aggro
After a lot of Day 1 activity, Lulu play rate has declined from most streamers' interests. This surprises me, as she can really punish a lot of slower greedier decks that seem popular on the ladder right now. Here's a Lulu + Shen support deck that looks to leverage Relentless Pursuit to cheat out an early lethal and with Swiftwing Lancer and Genevieve Elmheart to apply some late-game pressure.
What type of Legends of Runeterra content would you like us to focus on in the future? Meta snapshots? Clever off-meta decks? Budget-friendly decklists? Detailed deck showcases? Let us know in the comments below!

I don't have Shen or Taric yet, but I'll definitely be giving these others a try. Thanks!
If you have some Lulu but no Shen, you might be more interested in pairing her with Zed since you received at least 2 free. Here's a deck from Swim:
Calling a deck "Support Aggro" sounds so silly to me. There are supports in League with an aggressive playstyle, of course, but I'm picturing a support who's become a little too aggro in their mindset. "I AM SUPPORTING YOU. IS THIS ENOUGH SUPPORT? TAKE THESE HEALS AND LIKE THEM! RAWR!!" lol.
Unrelated to the above, but I'm very interested in the Leona deck. Still haven't crafted my main girl yet...soon. Just waiting to see what kind of deck she works best in.
