Scourge of the Skyclaves is up there for my favorite cards this set solely because of its interaction with Nethroi. Nothing is more fun than reading "total 10 power" and then saying "haha nah I'm going to get 30 total power" in Commander.
Please please please, Wizards. . . no more Blue counter spells! Aaaaaaa!
It's kinda Blue's thing. Control, bounce, counter, draw, flying. It's like playing HS and complaining warriors are getting new weapons.
That being said a one mana counter is pretty damned powerful. Even before the party mechanic it's disruptive as hell to tempo and rush game that plays mostly on curve till they're spent.
Wait, Blue has spells that DON'T counter? :p
Yea, not only they got more counter spells but also cheap one :/
But I must say I like this Black land - nice trick or mana. Both are good in different cases.
Honestly, it does feel kinda ridiculous at this point lmao
