  • in your dreams maybe. why would priest need a 3/3 buff? maybe if this turns out to be the most underpowered set in the history of hearthstone

Oops it's gain and not "give a minion" - still underwhelming when it comes down turn 7 (heal + this)

  • The ever recurring problem of "If I have nothing to heal this is useless"

    • but you can heal your opponent for it, just like with priest uldum quest.

      • still requires your opponent to take damage first, which, similarly, you have no control over.

Against something like Control Warrior you have no real guarantee of activating this when that is the matchup you'd need it the most

        • you have easier control, all you need to do is to do 1 damage via minion combat, you can also damage enemy minions not just face.

          • First one requires you to actually get onto the board

Second one requires you to have a spell that also heals and targets minions (which then means wasting ressources to keep enemy mminions alive which is the opposite of what you want)

            • You don't need to waste a card to heal, you are priest, your hero power heals for 2 any target.

and damaging a minion is not an issue..

I mean I think if you are going for a tempo/alling priest plan you can easily trigger it, no card should be evaluated in a vaccum.

    • Worst part is, this card isn’t even that amazing with the buff.

      • I think it's just too late at 5-mana.

If it was a 4-mana 4/4 it would be decent, but compared to most other turn 5 plays this just stinks. Jandice Barov gives more value without having to combo for the same cost.

Stat sticks like these need to be either completely insane or below 5-mana to really work.
