  • Wow, Spiral Stairs is slow.

Rockfall Path creates an interesting quandary for the opponent to have to play around, though.

  • I may have left LoL because of how much stress it would give me playing, but now i can have my Blue baby in my deck, i love it.

  • Mmmm they looks boring.

  • I really like Blue Sentinel, it's a nice medium-value card that does a few different things. Runeterra could do with more of those, I think.

You get an early blocker, some landmark synergy and a bit of ramp on a later turn. It won't be crazy, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's in a lot of decks.

  • Back to the cards themselves, they look to be pretty underwhelming in anything expect Shurima.

    • Obviously Shurima is the only region with direct landmark synergies, but I could see Spiral Stairs / Seed of Strength getting some experimentation in other regions -- e.g., Zoe / Viktor / Vi, possibly Swain, maybe Lee Sin. It's comparable to Zenith Blade: you get more stats, but you spend 3 unit mana instead of 3 spell mana and there are timing conditions.

      • The problem outside of synergy is that landmarks are slow and tend to get devoured by aggro.

Anyway since we already know that Ekko is going to be the future P&Z champion and that he has time related abilities. My hope is that he come with some countdown related effects to make these cards good outside of Shurima.

  • Malphite is coming tomorrow, but more importantly, they made a card out the blue buff!

    • I feel like I am the only person in the world who didn't realize that reference when I first saw it. :*-(

      • You are not the only one 😅 i thought it looked familiar, but i didnt make the connection until someone else pointed it out.

    • Even more importantly, there's a Chip in (almost) every full card art here!
