I think this is better than it seems. The Trade function is very useful to ensure its own DR works, and/or to summon it with Death Speaker Blackthorn. The downside is at the moment only the first copy's DR can ever work, but perhaps we'll have some coping mechanics in DH this expansion or sometime soon.
There is already one DH copy card: Zai, the Incredible.
This crossed my mind too, but since that's one of rogue's party tricks I kind of hope not. Those two classes already share enough design space, so I'd rather DH didn't keep growing in the same direction as rogue.
Every class has or has had copying mechanics of some kind.
Rogue has Gang Up, Togwaggle's Scheme, Shadow of Death and many more.
Mage has Molten Reflection, Potion of Illusion, etc.
Shaman had Sapphire Spellstone and Eureka! for a while.
Druid has Menagerie Warden, Germination, Oracle of Elune and even broader ones in the past with Gloop Sprayer and Ixlid, Fungal Lord.
Warrior had its Blood suite with Blood Warriors and Bloodsworn Mercenary.
Warlock had Fel Lord Betrug and most recently has Felosophy, which is the beginnings of a spread into DH.
Even Hunter has Hunting Party, Stitched Tracker, Selective Breeder.
And of course Priest has all kinds. Seance, Psyche Split, Blood of G'huun, Zerek's Cloning Gallery, etc...
It's really only a matter of time before DH joins the rest. In this particular case, I envision DH being like a combo of Druid/Hunter and Rogue, in that they have synergy-specific copying (for Deathrattles instead of Beasts), but perhaps with the shuffling aspect of Rogue. That would make sense with this card and support others like Death Speaker Blackthorn.
What's the effect of the colon at the end of the text? Is there more to come?
Typo, in the spirit of getting it out asap 😎
Unless theres ways to slot in more [Hearthstone Card (stubborn merchant) Not Found] into the deck, this is just not very good. The problem is that outside of its poor stats for a 4 drop, it has neither rush nor taunt, so even deathrattle dhunters wouldn't play this card over the staple Fishy Flyer or Renowned Performer
Its nice that since it does have tradeable means this card will nearly always summon itself back at least once, but dhunters never really need the draw option and your opponent would naturally know when this card's deathrattle is moot.
I see it as the deathrattle almost never being useless. You can effectively guarantee you only draw 1 of them, giving you a 4 mana 4/3 that summons a 4/3 upon death. That would have been a high-roll for Piloted Shredder back in the day, so it stands to reason its still a solid card now in Standard.
The fact it is competing with rush minions in the 4 mana slot probably keeps it out of deathrattle decks, but it is at least better than those options when you don't need the rush, or when summoned on your opponent's turn (e.g. via Razorfen Beastmaster).
Im not so sure, because current deathrattle dhunters builds are pretty packed, and the rush on the other deathrattles are fairly impactful because the deck must theoretically function without the boars as well.
It might see inclusion into standard midrange and aggro dhunters if only because it does thin down the deck and the deathrattle will always work at least once. But I hold on to the hope of there being more ways to shuffle more copies of itself into the deck at some point.
