I was not excited by a Noxian champion since Swain got released during Rising Tides.
Sion and his followers are looking great and there is some interesting decision to be made ( Do you play the unit's or discard them for their effect).
I am also glad that they gave him and his followers overwhelm and not impact.
Agreed, and Swain was WOW card until it wasn't, but it has a place in my heart and my decks (It's my favorite LOL champ after all.) but he had MUCH more hype than LeBlanc and Riven (Ironically LeBlanc is heavy part of the meta right now and Riven has 2 skins), Sion seems good, people in general is shitting him out for being discard related, being much more midrange/controlly than pure aggro as Draven+allthediscardbullsh!t, so is good, and his archtype is well build, as Swim say, a well refined Sion deck will be awesome, and probably very different as we say out loud here, in YT and Reddit, or maybe not and is Draven+allthediscardbullsh!t+Sion, idk man.
When Tristana got released people complained about her not being nothing like her league counterpart, now they released a champion who is similar to his league iteration people are complaining about him being tied to discard mechanic . It's just complaining for the sake of complaining at this point.
Conflating feedback/unhappiness with mechanics and "bitching for the sake of bitching" is naive at best. People are allowed to provide feedback about a champions aesthetic, role, mechanics, archetype, etc.
Your statement however, is contributing nothing to the conversation other than to "make fun" of different people, who have different expectations. If you care to contribute to a conversation in any meaningful way, then do so. Otherwise statements like the one I quoted above are best left in your mind.
And FYI, the reason people are complaining about the discard mechanic being tied to him is because the discard mechanic pigeon holes him into specific champion pairings, none of which make a ton of sense. Additionally, the discard mechanic doesn't seem befitting Sion's role and the way he is presented in League. Aesthetically I think they did well with him, but as others have said: they just printed Draven 2.0 for all effective purposes. And as I mentioned earlier in the thread: Either he does Draven's job so well that he obviates Draven, or he ends up not doing Draven's job as well, which means...they printed another discard-esque champion that is medicore. Those are the only two possibilities.
Everyone is allowed to express their opinion and said opinion can be criticized by everyone.
The whole "the champion gameplay is not what expected so it suck" is not what I would call feedback.
Saying that that Sion is Draven 2.0 because they revolve around the discard mechanic don't make any sense, it's like saying the Rek'Sai is Pyke 2.0 because they both have lurk. Draven function as an early game pressure unit who's role is to get good trades and generate some value while doing so. Sion is the opposite he is late game finisher, he is meant to be discarded early game to buff himself and allies then played late game to finish the enemy with big overwhelm attacks. if anything they look to synergies well with one another.
I am not here to make fun of anyone but if disagree with some statement I am gonna say it. And I won't be telling anyone to shut up because they criticize something I said.
I was ready for complaining about riot releasing another uninspired aggro archetype within noxus that has little skill expression and is just bland (#lebland) but this time... it looks like noxus actually gets more interesting and more decision heavy cards to play with.
The cards look interesting very strong in the midgame and perfect for some good midrange overwhelm deck that gets to sneak in damage with the help of combat tricks instead of boring burn cards.
I definitively like what I am looking at here.

I don't know who Sion is, and don't much care, but the art for these cards is outstanding, I may craft it all just for that :)

I really like Sion from LoL , but man I really wish they hadn't tied all the new cards around him to discard. This forces Draven and/or Jinx synergies. Draven kind of makes sense but not really, but Jinx just feels awkward pairing with Sion (thematically in my head at least).
Draven also feels odd, here's this Undead Juggernaut hanging out with this arrogant arena fighter? Just....feels odd. I feel like it would have been way more thematic/appropriate to pair his mechanic with Viktor...

Thematically together doesn't make sense, but individually is like Draven fights to and for his own, any other things doesn't matter (in his case, cards in your hand.), in Sion case, the Discard is like they're all corpses, discarded noxian soldiers who turn back from the death by hematomancy, sooooo idk, together is weird, you got the point there. The cards being "all discard" also is weird, cuz the only card who can make a slot in other deck is Physician as a unit tutor, but he discards, so is in the archtype. I like Sion btw, the thing that he is a shit card until it has 6+ atk or levels up BUT he is a good discard fodder meanwhile he is a shit card is interesting, i want to see people cloning the shit out Returned Sion with Mimic, cuz he levels up Discarding and SUMMONING 35+ power in units, so you can play it in Reputation i think? i just need one someone summoning 7 Returned Sions and Rallying 7 times a turn plz. Probably Mogwai who do that, his favorite Region is Rally after all.
