I like it because its basically a must kill, and its effect can damage face. The health gain is really just a raisin on top of a fruit cake.
But realistically, its a meta choice whether it'll ever be included into a deck. Its an 8 mana Consecration in most cases, because stuff like these just never stick.
I think the idea behind this deck is to avoid paying the full 8 mana for anything. At least, that's how most "big" decks work these days.
I dont like raisins on my fruitcake, I want a cherry on top.
Rancor is run in Warrior decks. And this is a Rancor-sh effect at the end of every turn, it will run at least once on the first turn. Also, hits face and enemies only. Can trigger multiple times for multiple enemies. We will see if these slow strategies can thrive but last year this would be an OK card.
Honestly, this is not bad. A lot of popular aggro decks run 2 health minions (mostly pirate warrior and taunt druid) so I can see this the cut as a one of.
Edit: The more I think about it, the more I think this card is bad. It is a win more card against aggro and midrange, and does not do anything meaningful against slower decks. Very meh.
Was going to praise it with Libram of Justice but then actually noticed the HK keyword being there. No fat easy heals.

Primordial drake was nice. Is this nice?Only time will show.
I don't want to sound like a party breaker, but Primordial Drake had Taunt, which is a big deal.
I know, this card seems dissapointing.
Aight, this and Templar Captain give me a feeling that we will be getting big paladin support.
Everyone is getting big minions for vaandar.
Yeah but now I have two nickels because paladin got two 8 mana minions that aren't battlecries and good if they're cheated out early.
Commencement is still legal.
It won't be in the next year though
