Riot Announces Runeterra's Next Card Expansion - Magic Misadventures Releases on December 8, 2021, New Cards Revealed

We've got new expansion news out of Riot's Legends of Runeterra today!

  • Magic Misadventures is the next expansion within the Beyond the Bandlewood.
  • Magic Misadventures releases on December 8, 2021.
  • Over the next week we'll get to see new cards, champions, keywords, and more. (Reveals at the usual time - 12 PM Eastern)
  • We're expecting to see a focus on Ionia, Ahri, and Kennen.

You'll want to watch the new trailer that was released for Magic Misadventures, though wait on it if you missed the first one that debuted with Beyond the Bandlewood.

Here are the three new cards that Riot revealed alongside the trailer.

  • So this expansion is going to be Ionia focused? Dread intensifies. 

    • People also speculated that Yuumi will be part of the next expansion as a BANDLE TARGON champion.

      If we combine these *cought fun regions to feature League's most hated champion (after Teemo) then one really can say "Dread intensifies. "

      • Yuumi a dual region with Targon? It doesn't make sense from a lore perspective but it does make sense from gameplay one. Yuumi is a support champion and Targon is the second support region after Ionia, plus Loping Telescope do look like it could be a Yuumi follower. Giving both Ionia and Targon track record I expect the new champions to either be Broken BS or meh.
