Hearthstone: Telling a Year-Long Narrative Panel Recap
One of the few panels at this year's BlizzCon for Hearthstone went into how the team told a story all year-long. It is unfortunate they don't make this available to the public because it was a really good panel that really requires the visuals and audio to properly enjoy. Here's our recap of the panel.

I can't in good faith purchase a bundle this time around. Not to say you're bad or wrong if you choose to, but I just.. can't.
I am sort of in that camp. My boycott is more limited to the amount of time Blitzchung is suspended but the 100 pack bundle is extremely enticing and won't be available later... :(
I guess we each have our own parameters/thoughts on how long we #boycottblizzard but the value is so hard to just outright discard.
I am totally conflicted right now.
The parameter should be if they, in your opinion, made it right and regained your trust.
They didn't do that for me, and as much as I would love to buy bundles or Overwatch 2, it's not going to happen.
Boycotting something you don't want is easy. Boycotting something you want is where the pressure is, though.
Yeah, I'd love the Deathwing hero and the value of the 100 pack bundle, but I think if I did buy that bundle, a small part of me would die on the inside. I've bought the bundles for almost all expansions in the past, but from here on out, I'm going F2P.
Just remember that we have a choice, the people of Hong Kong don't.
Does anyone know when Descent of Dragons will go up for pre-order through the Amazon store?
After the pre-expansion update tomorrow!
And one damage control apology that didn't apologize for anything.
"We didn't live up to your expectations, and for that I'm sorry, now buy Diablo 4 and spend full price on our glorified Overwatch DLC."
Nice recap, guys.
"Everyone gets the 5 versions of Galakrond for free for logging in when the expansion hits."
What?? So 5 legendaries for free?
Yup, but there is 140 in the set this time around, not the usual 135 so the set didn't get any cheaper. All the EVIL classes get 3 legendaries each due to Galakrond.
Oh, thanks for that precision. I must have missed something because I was under the impression it was part of their 2 usual class' legendaries. I won't spread misleading assumptions thanks to this clarification.
Great recap, thanks.
Great recap thanks !
I have a question about the legendary (F2P player here !). They offer the 5 Galakrond which is very nice but will they also offer a legendary as usual?
Also are sidequests only for the 4 explorers?
besides sathrovarr you will also ger a free random legendary class dragon
It's true! I totally forgot about this.
And don't forget that you're also guaranteed to get a Legendary within your first 10 packs of the expansion.
Yes, there will be free legend, this one ===> Sathrovarr (non-golden version for everyone, golden for this who had Virtual Ticket).
Correct, sidequest are only for the LoE.
say whatever you want, but this blizzcon was objectively the best blizzcon so far
See you at the Reveals Countdown!
