Dragon Paladin will see a come back until the start of the new year
It's an overpowered card compared to what have been printed in the past. I don't really understand where they are going. Moreover the stats of this card are pretty solid. We will see if there is space for dragon paladin
Most of the time, this will just be a vanilla 5-drop. It has a nice battlecry and a great tribal, but I'm guessing they won't be relevant most games.
What??? Most of the games you win without losing life???
A better emberscale drake
This is a lovely card. Against more aggressive decks, healing is a great way to stall for one more turn to draw your board clear. Antique Healbot was played, and so this likely will be as well.
However, what if Dragon Paladin ends up not needing healing? Then this is just a 5-mana 4-6, which is alright, especially with Dragonrider Talritha, but not amazing. It is possible that this will end up being a 1-of card or not included at all, depending on the situation it finds itself in. For Dragon Paladin, at least. As others have said, it could fit in any Paladin deck that needs healing, and I imagine it will for a long time to come.
You could always run thekal in your dragon decks with 2 of this and nozari, so if you're against aggro you have heals and if you're against control you can build up a lot of armour
Fantastic card - will see if dragon paladin is a thing.

I feel like I may be the only naysayer on this card. If dragon control is a thing then sure, but paly has never made it before. This might make a good deck better, but it won’t make a bad archetype good.
Except it doesn't have to be in a Dragon specific deck. It doesn't have the "If you have another dragon in your hand" terminology. So a Healadin can run this without any other dragons.
Simple and sweet.
AAANNNDD...we back to healadind
Thekal’s new best friend. 59 hp Pallys here we go
Maybe a healadin/dragon deck will be strong and untargettable from otks
This card is bringing Dragon Paladin “back from the junk heap!”
Solid.
Live insect!
I know its not the same but I just got a happy rag flashback.
This is exactly what a dragon deck needs - a very strong dragon on its own, does not require you to hold a dragon, and even if it you are at full health, the body is decent enough to be played for tempo.
I think this is strong enough to be played even in the non-dragon deck.
It is a really strong card, midrange dragon for paladins, you can even target your own minions while pushing the opponent, so not necessarily a control card. I'm afraid of the powercreep of this expansion.
