- There are over 100 developers on Path of Exile 2.
- Path of Exile 2 was originally announced as a simple expansion to PoE. This is no longer the case.
- They made the decision to make separate games when they realized it was getting so large. There was no reason to get rid of the original game people loved.
- All microtransactions are shared between the games, with a few exceptions where the content isn't in the original game (like bear shape shifting).
- Classes: Witch, Ranger, Duelist, Shadow, Templar, Marauder, Warrior, Huntress, Sorceress, Mercenary, Monk, Druid.
- 100 distinct environments.

- Every area of the campaign has a boss with unique mechanics.
- Melee has a much different feel. Almost all melee abilities have some form of movement.
- Monk is a specialist in movement.
- Killing Palm is an ability that will kill monsters that have low enough health (seen by a blue orb on top of the monster's head).

- If you use the ability slightly away from the target, it has a bit of extra movement built in to make it work smooth.
