Another Thursday is upon us, and it brings with it two new games from the Epic Store. This week we have a dark RPG with card game combat and a puzzle platformer about an extinct bird hopping around. Let's take a look!

Black Book

Inspired by Slavic folklore, Black Book is a dark RPG adventure with a minimalist and eerie art-style. Explore a medieval world filled with terrifying monsters that you need to take down in card-based combat. You play as Vasilisa, a young sorceress whose plans to marry her bewitched life away go down the drain when her beloved is murdered. Now she seeks the titular Black Book in the hopes of fulfilling her darkest wish.

Dodo Peak

Anyone remember Q*Bert? Little round fella with two legs and a trunk? Used to have an arcade game in the 80s, but unlike contemporaries like Pac-Man and Frogger, Q*Bert went the way of the dodo. This is where Dodo Peak picks up the slack: A puzzle platformer where you hop around from tile to tile collecting eggs. Let's hope this one doesn't go extinct.
