Four New Retro Games Including Japan-Only Titles Have Joined Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo Switch Online's September update is here and it brings four games to the subscription service including a few titles that were only released in Japan!

Previously Japan-Only Titles

Three games that were originally released only in Japan have made their way to Nintendo Switch Online! These titles are for the Game Boy, NES, and Super NES.

  • Kirby's Star Stacker (SNES/Super Famicom)
    • This was originally a Game Boy game but was remade for the Super Famicom with improved graphics.
  • Joy Mech Fight (NES/Famicom)
    • A 2d fighting game where you fight different robots on each level.
  • Downtown Nekketsu March Super-Awesome Field Day! (NES/Famicom)
    • A sports game featuring Cross Country, Obstacle Courses, Bomb Tag, and more!

These titles aren't entirely new to the subscription service though as they have already been available in Japan's version of it. Unfortunately, they are still untranslated so there may be some difficulty navigating menus but this isn't a huge issue thankfully due to games this old being quite easy to pick up!

Quest for Camelot Makes its Switch Online Debut

The final title in this month's new game releases comes from Titus Interactive - Quest for Camelot! This title was originally released on the Game Boy Color in 1998.
