No, you did not read that title wrong. SEGA announced that a new 3D Sonic game, subtitled Dream Team, will be releasing on December 5th exclusively for Apple Arcade. If you're not familiar with it, Arcade is basically Apple's version of Xbox Game Pass, where the games they offer are only playable on Apple platforms. It costs 6.99/month with a one month free trail.

Judging from the short trailer linked below, this game seems to be a full-blown 3D sonic title, with explorable levels, bombastic boss battles, and up to 6 playable characters. Which makes it's status as an Apple exclusive all the more bizarre. Hopefully the game is good and, if it is, SEGA follows it up with similar titles on other platforms.
