Pokémon's official Twitter X account has posted a release date for Part 2 of their DLC adventure for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero: The Indigo Disk! It will be out just in time for the holiday season, on December 14th, 2023.
Not much is currently known about the storyline of this second installment. Players will venture to the Blueberry Academy in a study-abroad program, an aquatic school focused around Pokémon battling. There they can also explore the underwater Terarium, teeming with new Pokémon and returning favorites alike.

I am actually pretty excited for this one!
I do have my fare share of critique for this game, but I have to admit I really enjoyed it even with all the problems it had.
I am really excited to finally use Totodile in VGC. Well, actually Feraligatr, but I love Totodile and as someone who has no Pokemon Games from the GBA/DS/3Ds eras it will be the first time I get to use it in a mainline competitive supported Pokemon Game :)
Also I really love Raikou, so seeing this strange Giraffe really intrigues me for him and for Entei, whose form is still to be revealed.
Finally I am really looking forward to this new Teratype they are going to introduce. I mostly want to see how it functions it has me really intrigued.
Thanks for the news!
I didn't read into the news much; are they bringing back older starter Pokémon? I must've missed that while searching for info about the DLC. That's always super awesome, although I wish they'd do that earlier in the game more often; for me, by the time I can get the extra starter, it's kinda too late to add him/her to my team.
Yes! Literally all of them. I hope they come Back earlier as in Isle of Armor's Bulbasaur/Squirtle just to at least use them for a little bit too. Getting them as a final gift is nice and everything but It does not really impact a playthrough at all.
