1 annoying stealth update they did for mobile is disable the ability to switch accounts for the same region :/ 1 use 2 accounts on EU and now can't seamlessly switch between them anymore, I need to change to a different region and sign in twice, wtf Blizzard!?!?!?
The change to Stitched Giant is really just an indictment of how that card is moving along. Its never a bad card, but trapped in a rune that doesnt need nor want it.
Well, at least you'll now be able to play this in rainbow DK and feel less dumb about spending loads of corpses.
But really, they should have just removed its rune restriction in its entirety. There's no solid reason why this card should be exclusive given that all runes types uses corpses to varying degrees. Might actually see play then, encourage a bit of creative deckbuilding because thus far the rune system certainly arent doing it.
Now that Stitched Giant is one Rune instead of two, I find myself asking why it wasn't one Rune to begin with. It doesn't really feel that Unholy-y since all Runes are able to use Corpses. If it was one Rune down to none, I might be asking why it wasn't none in the first place. Half the time, the amount of Runes on any given DK card just feel random and arbitrary.
What going down to one Rune is though is a giant buff to Climactic Necrotic Explosion.
Well, Unholy was clearly supposed to be the "primary" Corpse rune, with cards like Meat Grinder, Plagued Grain, Graveyard Shift, Possessifier and Unholy Frenzy mostly existing to generate lots of Corpses. I forgive you for forgetting that any of those cards exist, because none of them saw any play.
The problem isn't Stitched Giant being in the wrong Runes, it's Blizzard overestimating how important Corpses would end up being and shooting way too low on how many cards should spend them.
That's definitely the aim here, I'm thinkin'. Give the Rainbow DK more payoffs, even though what it might need is more Corpse-spenders.
I really want to know who bugged Blizzard for that "Spacebar now works for Mass Pack Opening"
It feels it would cause more anguish than convenience
Make sure to start and/or leave a run going to get rewards and a ticket for a free run.
So they finally decided to adjust amount of XP which can be farmed in Mercenaries. We all knew this was bound to happen eventually, but still sad when it happens. I fear it will be a very significant reduction.
The timing of this works out for me pretty nicely. I was still doing Mercenaries for two reasons: first, to semi-AFK myself some cheap XP, and second, because I was gunning for the Bounty Rush 250 achievement. (The 350 and 500 can sod off-- the diminishing returns on upgrades after level 20 ramp up stupidly quickly.) Delightfully, the last Boss Rush of this week was a total gimme, and whereas I had been doing bounties in the 210 range I was able to leap up and knock out the 250. So... now I'm done, well and truly done. Sweet.
