CD PROJEKT RED has released their financial year 2023 results and with that we've received updates on where the company is with The Witcher, Cyberpunk, and other gaming projects. Let's take a look at what they have announced.

No New Games Anytime Soon

It was announced that no new games are currently in active development, however they are in the early stages of concepts for a few titles.

  • Polaris is in the pre-production stage (new Witcher game).
  • Sirius is in the pre-production stage (A hybrid single-player/multiplayer Witcher title).
  • The Witcher Remake is in the concept stage.
  • Cyberpunk Orion, the next installment in the series, is in the concept stage.
  • A brand new IP, codenamed Hader, is in the IP concept stage.

Games in these early stages quickly change and it will be some time before we start to learn more about them.

A breakdown of where all the 627 developers are across the products showcase that Polaris has the bulk of the company. Just how far along they are in pre-production is yet to be known, but it sure looks promising for the 4th Witcher game.
