The latest balance Hearthstone Patch brings balance changes across 3 of the game's modes. For Standard, we're looking at 3 nerfs, with Reno, Lone Ranger, Virus Module, and Celestial Projectionist all getting bumped by 1 mana (and Projectionist also gets 1 extra Health).
For Twist, we're seeing changes pretty much across the board. C'Thun and Dr. Boom got their passives buffed, Guff got an extra trigger for his Hero Power, and everyone except Rafaam, Xyrella and Patches got deck adjustments. Everyone is also now at 35 Health, except Arfus, who is at 30.
Finally, there's Battlegrounds, which sees the most number of changes. It's mostly focused on Buddies, but there's also some changes to the Tiers of other minions, plus some mechanical changes to problematic cards.
Of note is the devs mentioning the next balance patch will be a bit later than usual, 14 days after the expansion launch as opposed to the typical 10. This is so they can have more time to monitor the meta and see it develop.
Quote From Blizzard Patch 29.6.2, launching today, brings balance changes and more!
Hearthstone Updates
Dev Comment: This is a smaller patch, designed to prepare for the launch of Perils in Paradise by weakening a few cards that are warping the meta in a way that could stifle new expansion development. As a note, we want to let that early post-expansion meta develop a bit before we step in, so our next major balance pass is scheduled for slightly later than the last few (about two weeks after expansion launch instead of about 10 days).
Reno, Lone Ranger
- Old: [9 Mana]
- New: [10 Mana]
Zilliax Deluxe 3000 (Virus Module)
- Old: [3 Mana]
- New: [4 Mana]
Celestial Projectionist
- Old: [2 Mana] 3/2
- New: [3 Mana] 3/3
The above craftable cards will be eligible for full dust refunds for two weeks following Patch 29.6.2.
Twist Updates
Dev Comment: The overall goal of these changes is to move more Heroes towards the 35 Health range. This means that, generally speaking, Heroes that had less than 35 Health before this patch had their decks adjusted to be weaker, while Heroes that had more than 35 Health before this patch had their decks (and sometimes effects) adjusted to be stronger. After these changes, we’ll continue using Health as our more regular tuning knob.

Battlegrounds Updates
Dev Comment: We hope you're enjoying the return of Buddies as well as their debut in Duos. In this patch, we're primarily addressing Buddy performance outliers. Most of these are Tier adjustments, though some have additional changes where Tier would not have been sufficient. In addition, we also made some minion adjustments to reduce frustrating play patterns with Beasts, repeated Battlecries, and, frankly, crimes in Duos. We also gave a bit more support to underperfoming Types. We'll continue to monitor the meta as it develops and make more adjustments as needed.

Comments
I wish they would just bite the bullet on Reno and make his board clear symmetrical. They wouldn't even have to change the animation. As it stands, the card is just way too flexible as an "oh shit" button while also being a lethal pusher.
Hat answered that on Twitter:
https://x.com/RidiculousHat/status/1806403883188793709
Transcript if you don't want to visit Elmo's place:
"wiping both boards anti-synergizes with rhea and only encourages the reno decks that play completely off board - it incentivizes the decks that people complain about with reno (warrior/priest) while removing the card as a viable option from other strategies. mana nerfs are significant and we're going to monitor here. the root of the changes today is about fighting neutral homogenization, especially as people see new cards - we want perils to be about perils, not old neutrals"
Definitely agree with Ridiculous Hat's answer there. I would much prefer facing (and playing) Reno Druid than Warrior or Priest. Also remember if the PiP meta is mostly aggro, (with all these new pirates it could definitely come to pass) getting to 10 mana will be much more challenging, even for Druid whose mana ramping has greatly diminished.
