The successor to 2020's Astro's Playroom, Astro Bot, has launched on the PS5! Along side the launch, PlayStation has uploaded a short live action trailer for the game that adds more joy into the mix of the Astro series.

Astro Bot is a single-player platforming adventure where you take control of ASTRO, an adorable robot who has been a part of the unfortunate circumstance of a wrecked PS5 mothership. This wreckage left ASTRO and the entire bot crew scattered all over the galaxies and to get everyone back together, it'll be time to visit over 50 planets which each feature different iconic heroes of the PlayStation universe. Just like Playroom, the game makes heavy use of the unique features of the PlayStation 5 controller, such as the adaptive triggers, haptics, and and built-in speaker. Last week we also got to see a look behind the curtain for Astro Bot to see how Team ASOBI went about making the gameplay perfect. They really cared about making sure every action in the game was carefully thought out and put together for a seamless experience.
