It's another Thursday, meaning another free game from the Epic Games Store! This week, we have one of the first beat-em-ups to come out in the modern era, alongside some free content for two free-to-play titles. Let's get into it!
River City Girls
Released in 2019, River City Girls is a beat-em-up game that's part of the River City series, with the most famous entry likely being River City Ransom. The game received a lot of praise for its combat, and still holds up as one of the best modern entries in the genre. The sequel came out in 2022, so this is a great opportunity to get into the series.
Idle Champions of the Forgotten Realm
Those keeping up with these giveaways should be familiar with this game. Idle Champions, as the name implies, is an idle game, this one fashioned after the Forgotten Realms of DnD. The base game is free to play, but Epic is giving away a free bundle themed around Baldur's Gate 3's Astarion, 5 champion unlocks, an exclusive skin, an exclusive familiar, and a lot of in-game goodies.
Arcadegeddon
A co-op roguelike shooter where you and up to 3 friends can kill all manner of enemies, with a bringt neon light shining on all of you. The game if free to play, but Epic is offering 5000 of the in-game currency with this offer.
