Pocketpair has officially announced that it will be launching Palworld version 1.0 in 2026.
Communications Director and Publishing Manager, Bucky, gave us a video talking all about Palworld and the future of the game.
Until September 23rd, the game is also 25% off to purchase on Steam (but not anywhere else).
There however is one big elephant in the room to address that Bucky didn't mention in the video, likely to avoid getting in trouble with Nintendo, but if we're going to talk about Palworld, then we need to bring up Nintendo's recently acquired patents. These do not apply specifically to Palworld, but it's obvious that they were designed specifically to target Palworld. It will be a very tough battle for Palworld to fight against Nintendo and they've already ran into a bunch of legal trouble with the aforementioned company. How the patents will affect Palworld's development remains to be seen.
