With 2025 nearing a close, we've got to determine what the best game of the year is. While The Game Awards is doing the same thing, Steam is also holding its own event for players to determine what the best game of this year is.
That's right. Nominations for the 2025 Steam Awards have started now. Until December 1, you can nominate games for 11 different categories. Nominate a game for all 11 of them and you can earn a badge. Also play a game and write a Steam review for one you've nominated and you can level up.
On December 18th, the finalists of each category will be up for voting.

Make your nominations here until December 1st at 10AM Pacific. Earn a 2025 Steam Awards Nominations badge by nominating a game in at least one category, and level up by:
Nominating in all 11 categories
Playing a game you've nominated
Reviewing (or updating your review) for a game you've nominated.
Vote for the finalists in each category (based on your nominations!) starting December 18th!
