Escape From Tarkov New Year's Stream Recap - 2026 Roadmap Detailed & More

Battlestate Games hosted a livestream today to talk about Escape From Tarkov since the release and what we can expect in the future. Below we have recapped this event and we've also got three new promo codes for free loot.

General Info

• Server capacity has been doubled to prepare for all the new players that have been joining.
• 19000 Years of time has been spent playing Escape From Tarkov since release of 1.0 - 17 million days!

Tarkov IRL

• They want to run more events in real life for the game. They saw 60000 people show up to their events this year.
• They will be opening more physical popup merch stores around the world next year.
• An online merch store is coming.

• We can expect every major patch to fix lots of bugs, its a big focus of the development team.
• 2026's first quarter will see a steady stream of patches to fix problems and we will also receive new visuals, transparent magazines, and an icebreaker event.
• The second quarter focuses on a PVE Prestige System and a brand new system for doing wipes & Seasonal Characters in PVP.
• Third quarter adds a large Halloween event, we see new story, a new event, and tons of new animations and interactions.
• The end of the year will bring the Scav Life DLC. Play as bosses, have a secure container, and so much more.
