It's no secret that Resident Evil Requiem is hyped up to the moon, and Capcom is capitalizing on that by releasing a showcase to give us a tease of what we will see. We're unsure what to expect, but there will be a lot covered. You can watch the live broadcast below.

What we saw in the showcase
- New "Requiem" gun with limited ammo, but a lot of firepower. Make each shot count!
- A new crafting system where you will need to acquire the blood of your defeated enemies.
- Swap between a first and third-person camera perspective.
- This is an independent of character, meaning you can play as Grace in first-person and Leon in third-person or vice-versa.
- "Classic" mode where you will need ink ribbons to save the game as Grace.
- Porsche and Hamilton have collaborated with Capcom to add a Porsche Cayenne GT Turbo for Leon and special limited edition watches (in real life)
- 1/6 scale figures will be available for purchase, scheduled this fall.
- A Pro Controller and amiibo themed after the game will be available.
- Resident Evil 7 and 8 will be available on the Nintendo e-shop when the game launches.
- A 30-year anniversary concert is planned.
The game releases on February 27 2026.
