The FPS Games Show Debuts September 3 With Rainbow Six Siege, Escape From Tarkov and 14 More

The FPS Games Show, presented by Bulkhead, is a brand-new pre-recorded showcase dedicated entirely to first-person shooters, and it debuts live on 3 September 2026 at 19:00 BST / 20:00 CEST exclusively on Twitch at twitch.tv/thefpsgamesshow. It is the first developer-led showcase built just for the FPS genre.

What is the FPS Games Show?

A first-of-its-kind collaborative showcase, the FPS Games Show brings together studios from across the genre to create a shared spotlight for FPS players. The really interesting part? Rather than studios paying for placement or competing for attention, every developer involved is participating freely, with no paid placements and no marketing spend required to appear in the show. Instead, participating studios are coming together to champion one another's games, share exclusive news, trailers and gameplay, and celebrate the FPS genre as a whole.

The organisers say the show is built around titles players are already invested in, alongside new games and updates worth discovering, and is designed to give the FPS community something it rarely gets: a showcase created collectively by the people making these games, for the players who love them.

Why does the FPS genre need its own show?

It is a fair question, and the team behind it has an answer. FPS is one of gaming's biggest, most passionate and most performance-driven audiences, but until now it has not had a dedicated showcase of its own.

Quote From Joe Brammer

FPS games have been a cornerstone of the industry for more than three decades, building one of the biggest and most dedicated player communities in gaming. Yet that audience is underserved when it comes to a dedicated place for news, updates and new game reveals

The FPS Games Show aims to change that by bringing studios together to showcase their work, support one another and celebrate our collective love of the genre. It's about giving FPS games, and the players who are passionate about them, a show of their own.

Rather than mixing shooters into long line-ups spanning unrelated genres, the FPS Games Show puts FPS games, communities and players at the centre. Viewers can expect new trailers, gameplay, content updates and news, all wrapped in a show designed for FPS players, by FPS players.

Which games are in the lineup?

The show features a 16-title lineup, packing in some genre heavyweights alongside newer names to watch:

  • Rainbow Six Siege

  • Escape from Tarkov

  • Ready or Not

  • Stalzone

  • SCUM

  • Gray Zone Warfare

  • Wardogs

  • Hell Let Loose: Vietnam

  • Beautiful Light

  • Bellum

  • Incursion Red River

  • Road to Vostok

  • Sand Raiders of Sophie

  • Bodycam

  • 83

  • Terminal War

How does the no-paid-placement approach work?

Every participating studio, publisher and creator will co-host the FPS Games Show directly to their own communities, significantly extending its reach across the genre. Through co-hosting, reactions and community promotion, each participant will not only showcase their own games, but help amplify those of others, with everyone taking part for free. Not all of the shows we see prompting games are free for the devs to take a part in, which makes this approach interesting.

The show will combine a fast-paced showcase with a player-first, self-aware tone, aiming to feel less like a corporate reel and more like something FPS players actually want to watch, featuring games and creators they know and respect. Will that hold true though in reality? We'll get to see in just a couple of weeks.

What about Twitch and Steam?

Both platforms are backing the event. Twitch is helping bring this first-of-its-kind celebration to as many players as possible by supporting participating game communities and developers, while Steam will host a dedicated third-party platform event featuring selected titles, including discounts, free demos and free weekends.
