Coming in 2027 to PC, HUMANKIND is "about to begin again" in HUMANKIND II.

Amplitude studios just recently celebrated five years of the original HUMANKIND,with their CEO, Romain de Waubert de Genlis, teasing that "the next chapter is just beginning". In the short announcement trailer we got to see some of the in-game footage of the turn-based strategy game.

And if you're asking me, it looks beautiful!

Quote From Amplitude Lead your people through history, from ancient times to the Modern Age. Develop your cities and your empire. Trade with your neighbors or get in trouble with them. Above all, experience a unique cultural journey in every game, gradually shaping your customs built on your ancestral heritage and your environment. And make the most of what Mother Earth provides, whichever way you choose.
The sequel introduces new progression systems, enhanced visuals, a modernized UI, and a host of general gameplay improvements that have been "guided by extensive player feedback and studio experience". Each Era "brings the opportunity to adopt a culture that expands and deepens the identity of your civilization, unlocking exclusive customs through rich cultural progression trees".

So, how are we feeling about HUMANKIND II after seeing the announcement trailer?
