In this article, we're going to recap all of the new game announcements that occurred over the course of the livestream. You can find each individual announcement article by looking at our Gamescom 2026 tag.
Do note that this is only covering new game announcements or first looks at gameplay, so if any games from the livestream are missing, that's because we've already known about it for a bit of time and nothing substantial enough for announced to justify another article.
To make everything easy to find, we've sorted the list by alphabetical order.
1001 Threads of Mizan

This is a game inspired by the tales of 1001 Arabian Nights as a co-op adventure riding on flying carpets and fighting hordes of monsters.
Acornia: Mirror Worlds

Bakery shop owner by day, monster hunter by night, Acornia sees you as Alva. That's the squirrel. She reopens her family's dessert shop, but you'll also need to get those ingredients somehow, and you'll go on perilous journeys to do that.
Afterworld
Developer(s): Paradox
Release date: Unknown
Paradox, known for their grand strategy games and their creative builders puts their foot into a 4X-type of game in a post-apocalyptic setting as you rediscover technologies and conquer the lands.
Dust: Origins
Developer(s): Airship Syndicate
Release date: Unknown
An isometric action/survival/pseudo-horror game where you're trapped in some mechanical place with monsters all around you, and it's up to you to try to make it out. The game is currently being backed on Kickstarter if you wish to support them.
Elta: Defy All Gods
Developer(s): Afterburner Studios
Release date: 2027 (no specific date)
Combine fluid platforming, brutish melee, and exciting magical abilities, and you get Elta: Defy All Gods. You've even got a tiny dragon to accompany you the whole way.
Gears of War: E-Day

Originally revealed during the Xbox Showcase in June, Gears of War: E-Day is the new game in the series that serves as a prequel to the original Xbox 360 game from 2006. Experience the story of Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago and their growing bond right when the invasion has started.
Gravhounds
Developer(s): Octopus Panic
Release date: Unknown
A new cooperative defensive shooter game in which you and a group of friends play as dogs that wield guns, while collecting resources to make your way back home and defending yourself and your home base from threatening monsters.
Heroes of Might and Magic 3 Remake
Developer(s): Ubisoft
Release date: Unknown
The classic strategy game from 1999 is seeing a modern re-release with updated graphics, bringing all of the content that was released for the game in one package.
Humankind II
Developer(s): Amplitude Studios
Release date: 2027 (no specific date)
Amplitude's take on a Civilization-esque game has come back and it's come back to prove that it can play with the top dog of the genre. Choose your culture and lead it from the Stone Ages to modern times and reshape history the way you want to, all while there's several others on the map aiming to do the same.
Lego Skylines

LEGO Skylines is exactly what it sounds like. It's Cities Skylines made of LEGO, and it's even published by the developers of the Cities games too. In this game, you build your dream city made of LEGO, and quite frankly, I have no idea how it took this long for this game idea to exist.
Metro 2039

Release date: February 2027
The famed survival first-person shooter inspire by the old Russian post-apocalyptic novels, 4A Games has brought Metro back for a tale going through the Russian metro train system in Moscow.

An isometric adventure game through fairytales that have gone horribly wrong with combat that you can upgrade along the way.
Nodusfall
Developer(s): Hoyoverse
Release date: Unknown
After some leaks a little while ago, Nodusfall was finally officially announced. We don't have that much to go off of other than the fact that it's a coop game with some beautiful, although grim imagery.
Path of Exile II
Developer(s): Grinding Gear Games
Release date: December 11 2026
Originally released in Early Access on December 6 2024, here we are, almost exactly two years later, about to get the full 1.0 release. Path of Exile II is an isometric Action RPG you can play with several of your friends as you fight the spreading corruption in the land of Wraeclast.
PUBG DED.NET

A new PUBG game? Yep, and this one's a shooting roguelike that changes every run, all while you're placed in a land that's straight out of the 1990s. Closed beta sign ups are open right now (yes, I realize the irony of that sentence) on their official website.
Rainbow 6 Tactics

Release date: 2027 (no specific date)
Set in the famed Tom Clancy universe, Rainbow 6 Tactics is a turn-based tactical game akin to XCOM, in which the Rainbow 6 group is back in commission when a new threat emerges. Deal with bomb threats and hostages in the most tactical way as you are the commander of this group of armed forces.
RollerCoaster Tycoon Wonderworks

One of the most beloved PC games of all turn is back once again in a new isometric park management game that aims to recapture the magic of the old games from decades past as you build some wild roller coasters and manage your park in an attempt to keep your guests satisfied.
As of the time of writing this article, all three of the old games are available on sale on Steam and at GoG, as well as the mobile version, which actually plays much better on PC than you might expect.
Tarae: The Unbound

Release date: Unknown
An isometric Action RPG set in an East-Asian dark fantasy world on the island of Taegwido, formed by the shattered boundaries (hey, that's the name of the developer!) of the Six Realms. Play as one of six different character classes to master unique combat styles through hordes of enemies.
Train Sim World 7
Developer(s): Dovetail Games
Release date: September 15 2026
The famed train simulator game franchise has returned for a seventh numbered entry. Board the train, drive the train, be the train in what is the most popular and in-depth train simulator of all time.
Warlock
Developer(s): Invoke Studios
Release date: 2027 (no specific date)
Set in the Dungeons and Dragons universe, you play as Kaatri, who has taken a pact and learned dark magic. Through your newly found magical abilities and swordfighting skills, make your way through hordes of enemies through might or magic, brute force or brain power.
The Witcher III: Remastered
Developer(s): CD Projekt Red
Release date: September 29 2026
The acclaimed RPG from 2015 and the eighth best-selling video game of all time will be releasing a new remastered version with countless bells and whistles and improved graphical fidelity as a free upgrade to everyone who owns the original game.
Worms Galactic Tactics
Developer(s): Absolutely Games
Release date: Unknown
The first game revealed at the event, and ironically the last one in this article. Worms Galactic Tactics takes the franchise to familiar, yet very different roots in a new isometric tile-based combat game that contains all of the same Worms charm in a new, exciting package. The end of the trailer also teased the existence of what might be a remaster of the original Worms.
