Oh boy! Grinding Gear Games has announced the release date for 1.0 of Path of Exile 2 and it's December 11, 2026!
The announcement also came with a very exciting addition, the confirmation of Swords!
Path of Exile 2 is still in active development and has been missing various types of content and we've now got confirmation Swords are coming and with that a bunch of new skills. The announcement was short, so we don't have any major details, but we can expect Grinding Gear Games to talk more about it now that they've dumped the news.
Speaking of, Path of Exile 2 should have a ton of new announcements at this year's Exilecon which takes place on November 7 & 8. It has been confirmed we will see deep dives into various game mechanics and a fresh set of Path of Exiles demos.
