Nice. I am a big fan of any form of shaman removal.
This Mechanic makes it less punishing to run Spells with overload. And in some Cases you might even save Mana!
This will be perfect in pirate shaman!
Interesting how they release [Hearthstone Card (Fist or Ra-den) Not Found], then print high cost spells that are discountable. I wonder if Big Spell Shaman is something they're going to support.
Not a bad card! 2 mana deal 8 is strong and flexible! and last year added a lot of high health minions that get in the way or threaten Shaman!
But Shaman needs more than 2 mana deal 8 to make a comeback
With Mountain Giant rotating, almost all of the Giants are gone. Terrible card!
Seriously, it sounds pretty good. The flexibility is nice even for faster Shaman decks that might use it to remove a big Taunt or key minion. But, of course, it's more likely to find a place in slower decks.
This and any cheap spell is a Crushing Hand. Without Overload.
Spell-heavy decks--which, given the text, is likely to be a supported archetype--will probably run this card. Especially if other decks feature big, controlling minions like those Primes.
Not Fluffy Torrent?
You took the words out of my mouth
Lets call this mechanic 'reverse overload'.
Spell shamaan incoming?
Card just keep streaming down.
Really interesting where they're trying to push shaman. Its a bit slow, so you've got to expect a big minion play and play a spell prior so you get the mana cost reduction.
But 5 mana remove a minion is still decent I guess.
I know I’m definitely gonna have fun with this one in Wild with Hagatha.
A bit awkward to use, but definitely promising. Though Flame Lance always did sort of suck
