The Xbox 2026 Showcase starts off strong with a look at Gears of War: E-Day. The game takes place in the early days of the Swarm invasion, showing Marcus Fenix in civilian clothing and making his way across an infested city and facing against enemies.
We get to take a look at the series iconic Active Reload system, as well as some more of the shooting and other gameplay elements. The game releases on October 6th, exclusively on Xbox and PC. There will be a dedicated Direct for the game right after the Showcase ends.
