Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look Is Now Playing on Netflix Ahead of November Launch

Rockstar has dropped a big one: Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look is now playing on Netflix, and it's coming to Rockstar's official YouTube channel and the Grand Theft Auto VI site later today at 9 p.m. ET.

If you've been starving, and I know I have, for a proper curated tease and not just leaked gameplay, this is it. Rockstar says the showcase was captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5, and calls it the biggest, most immersive evolution of the series yet.

And yes, that is the base Playstation 5, not the pro. Impressive to see!

Where can you watch the Extended Look?

Right now, the fastest way to see it is on Netflix, where it's already streaming. If you'd rather wait for the free-to-everyone version, Rockstar is bringing it to two more places tonight:

When does Grand Theft Auto VI launch?

Grand Theft Auto VI is coming November 19 to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders are open now over at rockstargames.com/VI.

  • Still wondering if it runs well on the PS5 for every part of the game. Will still wait for user reviews before putting my money down.

    That being said, I like what I see on the EL! Not revolutionary, but clearly an upgrade from GTA V in most aspects.

      Huge upgrade! I know it was said the game runs at a solid 30 FPS so that's ... not great but I'm hopeful my Series X will be able to benefit from frame rate improvements. No personal plans to buy a PS5 Pro if that ends up being the best place to buy the actual game from a performance perspective.

      It's just such a shame no PC at launch =( Let me torture my rig damn you Rockstar!

        "Solid" 30 FPS :D I know Iv played on that, and worse, in the past, but for todays age, thats just sad.

        But yeah, also going to have to wait for PC release. But i did like what i saw for what is worth.

          Oh I def won't be waiting for PC. Day one Xbox release for me without a doubt. I will make sure I get to be a part of this iconic launch! I will be rebuying it on PC though or whatever I need to do for whatever they end up doing for online because I enjoyed the online for 5 even with all the script kiddies.

          I do agree that 30 FPS is sad, but, the PS5 and Xbox Series S|X are quite old now. They are solidly "last generation". Still solid hardware, but they need a refresh. It's just a shame that with the way memory and storage prices have been, it's likely a while away from us having a proper new set of hardware.

          What's going to be hilarious is Rockstar is going to 100% get to find a way to sell new copies on the PS6 and Xbox Series Z or whatever dumb name they come with next. Maybe it'll be some NEXT GEN upgrade which unlocks 60 FPS and some higher res textures or some bullshit but they're at least getting expansion money out of the original purchasers down the line.
