The Empyrean can be blocked with other elusives while Akama Prime is harder to remove with combat. Non-target spells + Aoe's may do the trick tho.
I loved Akama in Warcraft lore and i always wanted his card in Hearthstone and I loved what I saw here. But the truth is, I would be more happy if we got a Maiev Shadowsong card as a Rogue Legendary even though she is a Templar. I hope in some day we got a Templar class and we got Maiev Shadowsong more efficiently rather than a Hero Portrait.
I’m pretty certain that she will be revealed in 8 hours. From the small icon on the reveal countdown you can see her fingers, wich is the same as the picture from the ashes of outland trailer.

This will be played imo. With draw tutor it may be a kind of win condition.

Rip all classes that don’t have AoE, especially Druid. Priest on the other hand will shred anyone who plays this card.
"Shred" is overstating it a bit. Being reasonably good at dealing with 1 card doesn't completely turn the tide in an otherwise poor match-up.
this with Stowaway and Cold Blood will be insane
If Blizzard pushes more cards like Shadow Sensei, this could be a very compelling build-around. Even without support, Akama is probably good enough to just go into any Rogue deck - it's got vanilla stats and a deathrattle in a class that frequently cares about deathrattles, and Akama Prime is a very cool offensive tool that's also around vanilla with the added benefit of easily going face, etc.
What a time to be a rogue main. I see this as more of a win-more card for Galakrond decks, or a way to ensure that your board has something on it. Rogue can draw through their cards quite fast so getting to that Primal wouldn't take too long.
Spellbreaker hoing HoF makes more sense now. It died so that this has a chance to live.
It's permanently stealthed, your opponent wouldn't be able to target it anyway, unless you were thinking of silencing it yourself
Stealth does not prevent a minion from being targeted by a spell or battlecry
I think he meant silence your opponent's deathrattle Akama (or any of these other prime cards) so the prime is never shuffled into the deck.
To be honest i'm not even sure i'd play a 6 mana 6/5 with permastealth even if it existed as a card of its own.
The fact that you have to draw Akama, let Akama die, then draw the Prime and play it feels a bit too clunky for a reward that is nice but maybe not worth it.
At least the 3 mana 3/4 with stealth is a nice minion on its own, so maybe the card will see play not as a build around but just as another treath.
