Can't and Can't

Why are these apostrophes in card descriptions different? Is this the Blizzard's fault?

Just open the links and see the search results:

1 - https://outof.cards/hearthstone/cards/?text=Can%27t+attack&collectible=yes

2 - https://outof.cards/hearthstone/cards/?text=Can’t+attack&collectible=yes

  • Why are these apostrophes in card descriptions different? Is this the Blizzard's fault?

Just open the links and see the search results:

  • In one instance, you searched "Can't attack". The other time you simply searched "can". So anything that had the word "can" but didn't say "can't attack" appeared the second time.

    • The second link was set incorrectly. Manually copy the second link and paste it into the address bar.

First link search result - 14 cards that contain "Can't attack", but there is no Eerie Statue.

  • We import all the card data out of the Hearthstone client, so it would appear that Blizzard goofed with the card text! I just did a quick look to confirm this was the case. We'll have to add a string replacement to the importer to make sure this is resolved on our end since I doubt they'll fix it.

Thanks for finding that! I've manually changed Eerie Statue for now.
