Complete Clickbait Tycoon Mug List: Effects, Rarity Multipliers, and Seasoning
Collectible boss-drop mugs in Clickbait Tycoon aren’t just for show, they can be equipped on writers for stat bonuses and powered up via the Seasoning system. This guide breaks down every mug’s drop source, plus rarity effect multipliers and how many seasoning slots each tier provides.
Every boss in Clickbait Tycoon's has a small chance to drop their own collectible mug when defeated. That's not only a collectible item though, they are also useful because you can equip them on your writers to give yourself bonuses to different stats in the game.
Mugs are also used as a part of the "seasoning" mechanic which allows you take a Pal and merge its stats into the mug, making the mug more powerful. Higher rarity mugs have more slots for infusions. Let's take a look at all the different mugs in the game, where you can get them, and how each rarity behaves.
Mug Rarity & Seasoning
Each mug has a small chance to drop and an even smaller chance to be high rarity. Increased luck will improve your odds of getting a coveted mug and gives you a higher chance of seeing better rarities.
As a baseline, mugs drop at common rarity (white) and go all the way to legendary (orange). The most basic of mugs contain 2 seasoning slots and go all the way up to 6 when they hit legendary rarity. Once you obtain a mug, you can still obtain better rarity ones, however, you will have to re-season any new mugs you obtain since seasoning is not able to be transferred.
Rarity also influences the power of the mug itself. An epic rarity mug will have a stronger base effect than a common rarity mug.
Rarity | Effect Multiplier | Seasoning Slots |
|---|---|---|
Common | 1 | 2 |
Uncommon | 1.5 | 3 |
Rare | 2.25 | 4 |
Epic | 3.5 | 5 |
Legendary | 5 | 6 |
That's all the different rarity tiers for mugs. Now let's see where you can get them.
Where Each Mug Drops
There are 40 different quests you can go on in Clickbait Tycoon, which is also a linear story about starting from the bottom and working your way up to the top. Each quest has a boss and each boss drops their own mug with its own effect that changes gameplay in a positive way. Some mugs share effects with others but have a higher base so those mugs can be worth chasing down from longer quests.
