Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links

Anyone here play Duel Links? Folk are always talking about Shadowverse or Eternal or Magic Arena or whatever in their Hearthstone downtime but I rarely see mention of good old Yu-Gi-Oh! I go through phases but I prefer it to all of the above and currently I'm playing it more than HS. I don't have any great insight to add, I'm just curious.

  • Duel links is the one that doesn't have the whole link summoning bullshit, right?

  • Right. It's still got plenty of bullshit to go round, however, but what hasn't. It's like ygo on crack, half the health, half the cards, half the phases, games are normally done in a couple of minutes. It's perfect mobile fodder. I like it a lot.

  • Yeah I play it. It is a game I like to play especially when I want to slow down playing Hearthstone and vice versa. It is more expensive than Hearthstone and some of the decks have been frustrating to go up against (looking at you Amazons and Weevil stall/Burn). But I've loved Yu-Gi-Oh ever since I watched the anime at a young age and having a Yu-Gi-Oh game on the go is always a plus in my books. 

  • yeaah i just started and i love it i did first on duel nexus but damn ythas just not fun 

  • I don't like it very much because it's not "real" yugioh for me.

    Yes, modern yugioh with master rule 4 (the Link Summon thing) isn't real too, but whatever. I used to own 16 different meta deck with the old rules to play with friends IRL, now I don't own anything :'(

  • yeaah its indeed not the real yugioh and stil hoping that there come out a game with the real yugioh but for met its much better then the master rule 4 crapp
